I'm pretty sure I actually forgot about my blog...yup, I totally forgot about it.
Oh well, today is a new day right?! Well this summer has been very eventful and stressful.
I consider myself a graceful mover, it never bothers me, I love new places and faces. Texas makes it 8 states I've lived in now. But moving to Austin was a lot rougher than I had bargained for. With a new baby, new job, new schedule, new apartment (that can make anyone lose it) and NO friends in sight...it has been rough.
However, I do love Austin.
Thankfully it has a magical hippie vibe that I just dig. There is anything and everything you want, from Birkenstock to Neimen Marcus. Live music, to giant indoor trampolines and Whole Foods for days! This is its motherland. The first Saturday we lived here we went downtown for a gander and I thought they were giving something away with the amount of runners that were out, seriously it was amazing to see that many people actively caring about their bodies.
I think we will like it here.
We are finally done with schooling, and now on to corporate America. And no, Cory will not be a lawyer anytime soon. We had a better opportunity using his MBA and so he took a job with VMWARE.
Here we come real world!
