18 mile death march

SO...anyone who is someone has heard of Mt. Timpanogos if they have lived in the Provo area. Well its one of those hikes you hear everyone rant and rave about, and "oh its so beautiful" and "its a great hike" blah blah blah...well Cory and I decide if we wanted to be someone, we must do the hike. So we set out one Saturday morning for this joyous hike, planning on making it back for the BYU game later. Well....we start off following some friends of ours who head down the wrong trail for 3 miles :) Then we went on to do 15 more...it was steep and dangerous too. It was packed with people and dogs, as we were trying to pass eachother while rock climbing to the top! We did attempt to "save" time and slide down the glaciers, but another person said it would be safer to go down the shail part??? Why did I listen to that?? honestly it was not faster after all that shail...just do the glacier if that decision comes your way....anyway the death march ended and I had to sit down in the shower cause i was so tired :)....Yes, im glad i did it, and Yes it was overrated!
